Best Buy is known for it’s questionable practices sometimes. From useless warranty programs, to basically forcing extras down your throat. So naturally, when they offered to give me a bloatware free machine, when I bought my Dell Inspiron 1525, I was a little apprehensive. But it was only $30, and I can’t stand the bloatware that comes loaded onto brand new computers. Not only do they remove the bloatware, but they do the whole setup process, which usually takes a couple of hours, and my time is valuable. My only complaint, is that they couldn’t remove Norton Internet Security, which still comes up everytime I turn the PC on, but I’m sure I can take care of that myself. All in all, not a bad deal, and I can finally say something positive about a Best Buy extra.
