Having a car battery die is one of the worst feelings that you can have on the road, and if it’s wintertime it can be especially bad fumbling with those jumper cables. This new gadget, which fits into the cigarette adapter of each car, will jump your car while you sit comfortably inside, and you won’t have to lift the hood which should help those who are completely unknowing about anything having to do with automobiles.
Weighing at only 1290-pounds, the Chrysler electric vehicle boasts a 30-mile range on a 6-8 hour charge from a standard 110-volt power outlet. The car also provides an iPod/iPhone dock and hands-free iPhone integration. The GEM Peapod has a top speed of 25mph, which is perfect for use on campus or as a neighborhood vehicle. Chrysler will release this eco-friendly car in 2009.

SeriousWheels provides us some information about the Aspid Super Car, which is powered by a supercharged 2L engine that produces 400hp and accelerates from 0-60mph in only 2.8-seconds. What makes this car special is that is comes with “an ultra-lightweight aluminum extrusion composite paneled chassis with a mass of just 75kg.”

The Shelby Super Cars Ultimate Aero electric car offers the top speed of 220 mph and at least 500-HP. This is amazing! This electric car will be available for only 50 units. The Ultimate Aero EV prototype will be ready by February and the company plans to release four production models by December this year. The company describes it as a “pollution-free, engineering marvel with an exotic supercar exterior.”
