The Vega is an interesting new tablet PC from ICD. The tablet is powered by an nVidia Tegra processor and comes with 15.6-inch touchscreen display with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, a 512MB of RAM, a microSD card slot, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, WiFi, 3G, and Bluetooth 2.1.

It is capable of operating in temperature from -40 to +75, which is probably a whole lot better than your actual ability to operate the machine at the same temperature. Connectivity options include two gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB 2.0 channels, VGA, stereo audio, 4 serial ports (2 supporting RS232/422/485), parallel port, and one SATA II interface.

Lenovo IdeaCentre D400

Lenovo IdeaCentre D400
Lenovo’s IdeaCentre D400 home server will have Intel Pentium Dual Core processors running at its very heart, making this one rather speedy home theater system. It looks as though there is some space to spare within to hold 3.5″ hard drives, and hopefully it can carry more than just 4GB RAM if it were to pump out a decent performance when the situation calls for it. I think there is some way to go before Lenovo is able to market something like the IdeaCentre D400 effectively – perhaps they could point it in the direction of the Borg, where having a cube in your living room is able to assimilate all the home theater and entertainment duties of other devices around.
