Most iPod docks out there are plastic and a lot are pretty cheap looking. Here’s one of the few iPod docks with a wooden finish. The Vers 2X comes with a hand crafted cherry veneer cabinet and fits pretty much every iPod out there, it also comes with a remote. $179.
Have you seen the new Apple iPod Classic? It’s basically a revamped 5th Gen iPod Video, except that it can now hold up to 160 GB of music and videos. White is out and has been replaced with silver. So if you’re old school and still in love with the click-wheel, then go for the Classic. You can now get a 160 GB iPod Classic in Black or Silver, and an 80 GB iPod Classic in Black or Silver. $350.
The new Apple iPod touch is finally here. It’s an iPhone-like iPod without the phone feature. It doesn’t look any less awesome though, and loses nothing when it comes to the interface. The iPod touch comes standard with Wi-Fi, Safari browser, YouTube and iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store. It’s already available for purchase. $400.
Here’s a cool accessory for your iPod; the H20 Audio Waterproof Housing for iPod allows you to submerge 10ft below (don’t go overboard), and allows you to utilize the iPod wheel as long as you’re wearing a glove.
You do need special earphones to use H20 Audio though. There are products available for the entire iPod line ranging from the iPod Shuffle to older versions of the iPod. This particular one will cost you $90, now that’s what I call high quality H20.
Here’s something pretty cool for the beach, picnics, BBQ’s, etc. A sunglass case which doubles as an iPod case and portable iPod speakers. Check out the colors and patterns, you Brit-pop fans will probably like the Union Jack. They’re available for purchase for £25/$50
