Many people love their TomTom devices for their great navigation system’s, but we have to wonder if this $99 iPhone app is really worth the price of admission. Considering you could get a standalone unit for about the same price, that won’t drain your iPhone batteries, we wonder how well this device is really going to sell.

The Thiphone, a new accessory that straps around your thigh to hold your iPhone, may not be entirely practical for walking around and using your phone, but if you often find yourself on long train or bus rides, then this seems like the perfect tool to help you to watch a movie without having to hold your iPhone.

While this may not be the prettiest, or most stylish way to keep your iPhone safe from the water, it’s probably the cheapest and most portable. Just slide it inside the bag and you are safe to use it around water for up to 30 minutes and at depths of up to 1 meter. You can even take underwater pictures.

This is a really cool gadget for some on the go mixing. It can transfer music to and from one iPod or iPhone to another, as well as mixing music with several different effects programs. Not only that but it can charge you iPhones as well. Not too shabby.

These are good for the nostalgia factor, while at the same time it’s pretty funny to think about how quickly the technology has evolved. Just a decade ago these cassette tapes were the standard in music and they could hold about 15 songs or so. Now something smaller can hold so much more, but these cases want you to remember your roots.

With so many iPod docks out there, most of them being pretty much the same as the last one, it’s nice to see a new design like this Rotaliana Diva. It is pretty large, since it is meant to be a lamp as well, and when you open the light it will reveal the iPod dock and the clock. It features embedded speakers as well.

Yamaha has just rleased it’s latest stero speaker cradle for both the iPod and the iPhone called the PDX-30. It is simple and no-frills, and don’t worry it comes in a variety of colors other than the pink color shown above. It will be available in Japan next month, but we are still waiting on the announcement of a US release.
