Canon’s PowerShot SX110 IS boasts a 9MP resolution with 10x optical zoom and optical Image Stabilizer. The camera also features a 3 inch LCD display and adopts Face Detection technology, Motion Detection technology, Easy Mode, Full manual control and SD/SDHC/MMC memory card slot. The Canon PowerShot SX110IS will be released later this month for $299.99 in the US.

Canon has updated its PowerShot digital camera family with the entry-level Canon PowerShot E1. The digicam offers 10MP resolution with 4x optical zoom lens, Optical Image Stabilization, Face Detection technology and 17-shooting modes. The E1 is available in white, blue and pink and is scheduled to be available in mid-September for $200.

The Olympus FE-340 digital camera comes jam packed with a 8MP sensor with 5x optical zoom, and a 2.7inch LCD display. The digicam also comes equipped with a Face Detection technology, and an automatic red eye reduction. You should have at least $179 to buy this new Olympus FE-340 digicam.

Elecom has recently launched two new webcams, the UCAM-K30H and UCAM-DLJ200H. The Elecom UCAM-K30H provides a 300k pixel 1/6 inch CMOS sensor. Meanwhile, the Elecom UCAM-DLJ200H has 2MP 0.25 inch CMOS sensor. These webcams support VGA video at 30fps with a maximum resolution of 1,600 x 1,200 at 15fps. These webcams are compatible with the Sony PlayStation 3. No word on pricing so far.

Hitachi today unveiled its spanking new Blu-ray camcorder known as the BD10HA. The camcorder offers a 7MP sensor, 10x stabilized zoom, a face detection, full High Definition video capture, a 30GB hard drive, and SDHC memory card slot. The video camera is also able to capture 6.2MP still photos. The Hitachi BD10HA Blu-Ray Camcorder is priced at $999.

Nikon today introduced two new Coolpix compact cameras that offer a fast start-up time. Known as the Coolpix S610 and S610C, the digicams has 10MP sensor, a large 3-inch TFT monitor, a wide-angle 4x zoom, wireless LAN connectivity, Lens-shift Vibration Reduction (VR), and high ISO (up to 3200). Other features include Scene Mode such as portrait, landscape, night setting, or close up. The Nixon Coolpix S610C will be available in Black and retail for $403. Meanwhile, the Nikon Coolpix S610 will be available in Titanium Silver and Deep Red for $462.

Sony Japan today released its CyberShot DSC-T77 ultra-compact digital camera. Measuring 13.9mm thickness, the 10MP digicam comes equipped with a 3-inch wide LCD screen with 230,000 colorsa 4X optical zoom lens, up to ISO 3,200, hand-shake detection and ‘Smile Shutter’ function. Available in black, silver, green, pink and brown, the CyberShot DSC-T77 is priced at 38,000 Yen in Japan on September 5th, 2008.
