Sony Japan today released its CyberShot DSC-T77 ultra-compact digital camera. Measuring 13.9mm thickness, the 10MP digicam comes equipped with a 3-inch wide LCD screen with 230,000 colorsa 4X optical zoom lens, up to ISO 3,200, hand-shake detection and ‘Smile Shutter’ function. Available in black, silver, green, pink and brown, the CyberShot DSC-T77 is priced at 38,000 Yen in Japan on September 5th, 2008.

CamBall is a small camcorder that can record 640×480 MPEG-4 video and save it on its 128MB internal flash or SD card. The video camera is USB powered and can read MP3 files. Sadly, the CamBall is available only in Korea. $200.

Pentax today released its spanking new point & shoot digital camera the Pentax Optio M60. The camera comes equipped with a 1/2.3 inch CCD 10MP sensor, a 5x optical zoom, a 2.5 inch LCD screen, and an ISO sensitivity up to 6,400. The digicam also sports SD and SDHC card and provides 36.5MB of built in memory. Available in Silver, Pink, and Blue, the Pentax Optio M60 will be released on August 22nd, 2008 for €110.

Toshiba has recently introduced its new low cost HD camera. Dubbed as the Toshiba Camileo H10, the camcorder is able to record video in 720p and comes equiped with a 10MP sensor, 5x optical zoom, 2.7inch LCD screen, 64MB of memory, SD/SDHC slot (up to 8GB of memory), motion detection, night mode, and image stabilization. The Toshiba Camileo H10 Camcorder will be available later this month for €230.

Here is a new concept webcam from Philips that comes in a futuristic design. This new Bluetooth webcam has a ball and socket joint that connect the base and body units. Unfortunately, this is only a concept. We don’t know whether this futuristic webcam will go into mass production or not.
