Samsung Ultra Fine Definition PDP:Highest Definition Yet!

You thought you had the best when your purchased your 1080p HD television? You’re wrong, the man who has more pixels gets more girls to come over and watch movies with him! Yeah that’s right! Now Samsung has released an HD that they call Ultra Fine Definition PDP. The name speaks for itself as it boasts a whopping 63-inch PDP featuring 4,096 x 2,160 pixels, with a pixel size of 0.339 x 0.363mm. Now let’s see who gets the girls! The price is yet $TBA.

Sony has recently unveiled the new Sony Bravia EX1 which is claimed to be the world’s first LCD TV with an integrated high-definition wireless connectivity. This slim LCD TV will be available in 40-inch, 46-inch or 52-inch screens and features Motionflow 100Hz technology, Bravia 2 picture engine and Image Blur Reduction. Here is the new slim Sony Bravia KLV-40ZX1M LCD TV that will be released during Christmas 2008. Measuring 9.9mm thick and weighing at 26 pounds, the LCD TV can be wall mounted and offers 1080p resolution, LED backlighting, 120Hz Motionflow technology, Bravia Engine 2 video processing, and an HDMI input. There is no word on pricing at this time.

Epson Unveils EB-X6 And EB-W6 Projectors

Epson Releases Two New Projectors
Epson is famous for its multimedia and home theater projectors. The company has recently introduced two new projectors that was designed for professional use. Measuring 327mm × 245mm × 92mm, the EB-W6 and EB-W6 adopt the 3LCD technology, a contrast ratio of 2,000:1, a brightness of 2,000 Lumens (EB-X6) or 2,200 lumens (EB-W6), a WXGA resolution (1280×800), and optical zoom of 1.2x. Other cool features are include HDMI input terminal, a built-in speaker of 7W, USB port, and SD Card slot. You can buy these new projectors in September 2008 for €550(Epson EB-X6) and €650(EB-W6).

Planar Launches Viper 3-Chip DLP Projector

The new DLP projector from Planar has been released. Known as the Viper, the projector boasts only 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution with 10,000:1 contrast ratio, 2,000 lumens brightness, 24fps video playback, two HDMI 1.3 ports and 10-bit video processing. It also supports 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p inputs. The problem is that the Planar Viper only supports HD Ready resolution, and not the Full HD. $15,495.

Vizio VMM 26 Inch Monitor

VMM Monitor is a cool 26 inch multimedia monitor from Vizio HDTV line. What makes this monitor special is that it offers an all-glass ID and a touchscreen OSD. Other features include a height-adjustable stand, HDMI port, a 1920 x 1200 resolution, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, a 3ms response, and an ultra bright 300 nits. The Vizio VMM Monitor is priced at $450.

Pantel Releases Mirror TV Line

Pantel has decided to release three new outdoor Mirror TVs this year. These weatherproof TVs are available in 20″, 32″ and 42″ models and feature HDMI support, 800:1/1200:1 contrast ratio for 20″ and 32″/42″ models, 720p/1080p resolution for 20″/32″ and 42″ models, super-wide viewing angles, and 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. What makes these screen cool is that they double up as mirrors when not in use. The 20″, 32″ and 42″ models are priced at $1,200, $2,755 and $5,800, respectively.
